Thread: Captain Sim 767 Demo

  1. Default Captain Sim 767 Demo

Does anyone else feel that the Captain Sim 767 Demo is a complete waste of time and space. It does not offer a flyable model and it does not let you see for yourself the wonderful features of the airplane. All they give you is a static airplane. You cannot fly around or operate any of the systems. If I wanted to see that I would have gone on Youtube to see it.

I just wanted to know if anyone else felt my rage.

why dont you buy LEVELD's B767 ? its a very good addon i think,
its by far one of my bests.

Three reasons why I don't get it:
    1. I don't know where to get the Level D 767.
    2. I like the full interior from Captain Sim 767
    3. I also want an Alitalia livery, I don't know if Level D has Alitalia

I did buy CS 767. I got lucky and purchased when they had it at lower price due to a Christmas special.
I have been not disapointed by it.
As you mentioned, the fact it does have a full interior is a feature I also enjoy.
And I would too be disapointed if I would not be able to fly it as such case as yours.
I have seen opinions as if Level D is better or if CS is better.
As well as other add ons.

Hard to tell by some opinions since I have noticed some may be base on opinions based on different experiences (and some with well founded disapointments) that would impact a true honest view.

I have almost every jetliner and have been disapointed on some and some it may not be the plane but all the issues one may encounter upon installation.

I did too had my share of frustrations with CS 757 installation all due to CS trying to avoid piracy on their work (understandable).
But I still liked the looks and worked with them to be able to use the 757.

There is more issues with other addon I purchase by a well known developer.
It work once, but the second time i did try to install did more damage and still no luck using it.
It came in a DVD format.

Well sorry for the long repply but if you system can take this CS 767 I would recomend it.
So far I like it. I had to tweak the camera positions to my liking but it has plenty of camera views.

Good luck on whatever you choose and my intentions are not to knock down any developer out there. There are a lot of good products to all of us using FS.

Yes, there are good choice if you want a payware addon, but what alex say is that the "DEMO" is any thing else but a DEMO...., and I agree, I will not get it. My grandfather says "Si así es el camino, cómo será el pueblo!!!"

The demo is the only part that gets me mad. The Youtube videos are wonderful to watch. I am planning to get the CS 767, all I am saying is that a demo should come with a flyable airplane. Looking at it doesn't tell me what it will do to my frame rates, etc.

That is all I meant by my first post. Thanks for the advice and opinions everyone.

Level D can be found at http://www.flight1.com make sure you choose the FSX version, for the 2004 is still there too....hope this helps - it is a nice model, I have that as well....

Compatible with Go-Flight Stuff as well, like the MCP Pro out of the box, so if you own that, you'll be able to use it...

As far as I know Captain Sim do not sell their products on DVD format. So guess you have purchased the boxed version, but problems with DVD installer is not a CS fault. I prefer download versions - easy to redownload, latest versions are easy to get. I have never had any issues with CS installers.

Concerning demo - guess there is no any standard definition for demo version. Demo means 'demonstrate', so this demo shows you the look and feel of this product. Not a problem for me.

    Post Re: same

I tried to download a CS demo and it locked up my pc,I had to restart
it. Yes it was for FS9. I also tried to fly the C-130 demo and got half a
plane. If the plane is anything like the demo, I'll pass.

There are no CS demo for FS9, so no surprize you got problems.
