Default New Pooter, FSX and UK Photoscenery

OK guys, been quiet for me as I have been preparing for the arrival of my new Dell Core i5 laptop@2.3, 4GB Ram, Radeon 512Mb Graphics Card and 500Gb HDD.

Framerates are up in the 40's with dense autogen, very dense scenery, 5M terrain 1M res, 3d clouds and max water, addition of 50% WOAI traffic has taken me down to 30fps at Heathrow. Very happy bunny

Couple of test shots around Snowdon, I think I might have to repeat my UK tour...................

Grats on the new puter Brian! Fantastic shots.
The pilot is bound only by his mind and his machine. We must expand the mind before we expand the machine, and by expanding the mind, we may expand the machine. Our mind is being expanded by the sim. It is not a game.

So, even the i5's do a good job with FS. Very interesting to know. Great pics, I'm looking forward to a full demonstration of what your new machine can do!
