ATC error in FS2002

I was doing one of my daily flights, and I happened to use the onboard flight planner to create a plan from Manila to Puerto Princesa. Things were going well until I got near Puerto Princesa, and then everything went south on me.

The one issue I had was that ATC turned me on final, but they neglected to tell me that I had a giant mountain in front of me. I had to clean up to get into Puerto Princesa in one piece.

Is there a program out there that anyone knows of that can emulate better ATC for FS2002?

You may want to check out Radar Contact by JDT LLC, it might work with FS2002, from what I understand on the sites main page...
