Hi,
The "purple RealityXP" gauge is almost always a sign that something has compromised the security of the gauge - most commonly that the user has installed the aircraft then moved the Key file somewhere other than where it was created at the time of purchase. The solution is to do a full reinstallation using the downloaded Wrapper file, going online to reverify the Key.
If this is the case, and you really don't want to keep the Key where it was created, (normally a small folder called C:\Dreamfleet) move the Key to where you want to keep it then reinstall, "pointing" to the Key in its new location when prompted by the installer.
The second most common cause is reinstalling the package from a previously-extracted installation file (the EXE) rather than the downloaded Wrapper file. Always use the Wrapper for reinstallations ...
As the GNS430 in your screenshot is not blank I assume that the underlying Garmin GNS430 Trainer has installed and is working, so if you do reinstall the Bonanza there's no need to "reinstall" the Trainer as part of the multi-step installation procedure.
Interestingly, if there WAS a problem with the Key security I would expect both the GNS430 and WX500 to show as "purple gauges" which suggests that the problem lies with the WX500 itself. Is this a "default" installation from the Bonanza Wrapper, or have you replaced either the GNS430 or WX500 with the stand-alone versions from RealityXP ?

I've used the wrapper to reinstall the A-36, when ever I try to load the plane with in the flight sim it causes it to crash. The odd thing is that I can load the Archer III and then be able to load the A-36. Is their an updated file for the GNS 430? Haven't touch the dreamfleet folder with the key inside it.
Please Help
Hi,
1. What is your operating system ? WinXP or Vista ?
2. Was your anti-virus package completely disabled when you reinstalled ? If any anti-virus service remains active you run the risk of it "poisoning" the installation.
3. Are you starting FS2004 with the default Cessna, then loading the Bonanza, or are you trying to start up with the Bonanza ? The first is by far the preferred method.
The GNS430 that comes with the Bonanza is a special A36-only version. You could substitute the stand-alone GNS430, but for practical purposes they are the same.

Windows XP Media Edition
The anti virus was disabled when installing the product. I was trying to start with the A36 but that wasn't working.
Hi,
Have you tried starting FS2004 with the default Cessna ? Does this solve the problem ? Until you try this and report back it is difficult to say whether you have an actual problem or not.

Started with the default C172 and then went to the A-36 floats and the radar gauge is still showing the Reality XP screen.
Hi,
Is this the same in all three versions, standard, tip tanks and float, or just in the float version ? If it is all three, it suggests that there is still something interfering with the installation.
Cheers,

It only happens in the float version
Hi,
Very odd. The entry in the panel.cfg for the Float version references the same gauge as in the Standard/Tip Tank panel. If the gauge security is OK for one it should be accepted for the other.
All I can suggest is to post again in the RealityXP Forum and see if someone else has any bright ideas.
Cheers,
Alastair
