Default DF737 for an airliner newbie?

    Hello all.
I am new just getting into flying the heavies in FS2002.
I have flown alot of GA ac and been flying sims a LONG time but am just now seeing the emmersion of flying these big heavies and really love it!

I am wanting to pick up an addon plane to learn in as the default models are really bad.
I have read reviews on the PSS Airbus, the PIC 767 and the DF 737.
It seems they all have their strengths and weaknesses as one would expect so making my decision is a chore as like I said I am a newbie here. I was thinking that the DF737 would be a good place to start since maybe it would be the least technical of the three I named here. Not to say that the DF 737 is easy by any stretch dont take what I say in that context as I am just assuming that the 737 as a plane would be less technical and more old school then the Airbus or 767, if I am off base with that assumption please correct me.

Anyway my question is would the DF 737 be the better of the three for a newbie? I really LOVE their Archer II so I am sure their 737 would be very pleasing as well but I thought I better ask the people who know before hitting that purchase button.

Thanks ahead of time for your help!!!

    Todd-

I think that would be a very good choice. The DF737 is a plane you can just fly around if you heart so desires, as you slowly learn the systems and operation. You can slowly ease into using the MCP (autopilot) and eventually tackle the FMC...all the while still enjoying it as you learn.

The DF737 also provides the option to set up the cockpit so that everything is up and running and ready for you to taxi out and takeoff (still have to set flaps, etc). However, it also has the ability to be configured for "cold and dark" so you can more realistically go through the complete engine start up.

With features like crew announcements, etc, you can make this as realistic as you want at your own pace.

I know the 767 is also a great product, so between those, I don't think you could go wrong.

Thanks for the input Jeff. That is kind of what I have figured out over the last couple weeks of looking at reviews and forums posts about all the choices.
I am definately looking for some thing fun at first but with the ability to increase the realism and technical aspects as I learn.

    Thanks alot for your help
