Thread: Anyone with ifly 747 experience?

Default Anyone with ifly 747 experience?

I saw an article about ifly 747 and it ranked equally with project open sky, but ifly comes with autoland as well.
Is there anyone here that can give me input on ifly??
    Much appreciated.

I downloaded the 747 fly time ago, but didnīt like the "feeling". Good VC, but not so good exteriors and handling in flight. Is an older model too. I thing this comes with a Flight Director Computer or whatever its name.
But I'm not a hard simmer, I`m lazy and all beyond VOR to VOR and ILS is too much for me.
POSKY donīt have VC, but the exteriors and flight model and effects are great and you can choose a lot - lot of repaints.
But you allways can download both and compare yourself.

Thanks nessim, I did the download, and found Project Open sky to be a better plane.
I did find a new plane that I like a lot so far, It is project fokker (freeware), great textures and good overall quality, and comes with autoland.

I recently started using the iFly and it does come with a FMC, but I found the manual difficult to follow. I have had FS crash a few times while flying this model and not sure why it happened. I actually prefer the Ready for Pushbback 747. It is an older "classic" model, but it works real well and I enjoy it.

Merge the iFly panel with the POSKY 747-400. It really works.

    Till,

I agree with you 100% I like the RFP panel better and it has more liveries,as does Posky.
