FSX KPHL Anomalies

When I fire up KPHL I'm at RNWY 9 but there are encroachments of houses, not to mention grass patches across runways. I am working with a fresh install on a new computer (windows 7) does anyone have any advice? Thanks everyone !

Also, I hear no voice from ATC. I do hear regular sound...

Nope:

I am running FSX-SP2 in Windows 7 x64. KPHL RWY-9 is cleared, went and checked it. I had only seen what you described in Iceland. Check Add-ons. Go to Sound in FSX manu and check your choices from the list. One is bound to work. Play some music in Win Player first to check your sound card is fine.

Best luck but it does work fine in Win 7.

Since it's a fresh install try a re-install using the 'repair' option.

Works fine for me also - FSX, SP 1 and 2 on an XP system.

I fixed the sound by going to menu as suggested, and the windows sound settings has a special voice dropdown. I reset to "default" vs. the named speakers, and I have it back in my "missions". But still missing in ATC !

Grass gone by removing my MegaSceneryEarth - the NJ scenery actually ends right across PHL itself, not the best thinking in my book. But now I get rapid flickers of the taxiway texture across the runways. I changed airports (KLGA) but see the same there.

I did "repair" install but now my FSX won't start at all, I keep getting "fatal error" msg.

Maybe I'll have to uninstall and start all over, ergh.
