Thread: Emma Field X and the Emma Field Flying Club...

Thumbs up Emma Field X and the Emma Field Flying Club...

Hmmm.... I am still a green horn but one of the things that drew me to FSX online interrests was the prospect of a cozy little on line, real time Flying Club. In my search I ran across one called Emma Field Flying Club. Apparently a hot spot in the old FS2004 golden years for GA VFR people to get together for a few multiplayer chitchats, fly-ins and plane spotting afternooners over virtual coffee. Looked great. Boy was I ready to get in there! It must be there for FSX too. Then I realised it was "in development" for FSX and would be comming out for FSX along with Tongass Fjords and so on. Some day...

Based on reading around, I realised it never came and conversations and chatter quieted down to occasional "I miss Emma Field" posts on various boards around the internet. I was deflated a little.

    Well...

It looks like it is going to spring to life once again! Probably hot on the heels of FTX's PNW immenant release! What a great on line base of operations that would be for exploring that beutifull add on when it arrives!

Mr. Womack is at it again!!!

    Default Beta Tester?

    Menemeth,
Well. Now you're a 'BETA TESTER' for flightontario dot com? Really? (Man, I thought only 10 year old kids did this: 'mis-representing' to boost their ego. I was wrong. I guess even 56 yr olds can (try to) do it.

PS: cvearl: You don't know what I'm talking about because it wasn't directed at you.
