Thread: Repair FSX

  1. Default Repair FSX

    A brief History.

Three days ago my FSX begain to loose buildings trees, all by itself.

FSX Disk #1 has a feature that you can repair FSX. I tried it,it did't work!

I tried to launch FSX without any luck, every time I tried i would get an error message saying check online for solution and close, or Close the Program.

After many time of trying to start FSX I decided to remove and reinstall FSX.Needless to say I did it many and finally got it right.

I ran a "Hardware Diagnostic Test" every thing checked OK. "I/A/W Hewlett Packard"

The SDK 'software development kit' in not necessary to run FSX. The product code is for the simulator.

However it's recommended to install the SP1 and SP2 service packs.

I don't have the SDK installed. You will have to wait for someone to tell you where it goes or keep searching for it somewhere under a Microsoft SDKs type directory.

    Regarding SDK -

It is extremely important you install the SDK which matches your setup.

Please go to this site and read and follow their instructions to the letter.

If you do, you should have no problems.

There are several versions of SDK's and you must use the version which will match your setup. The link explains it all much better than I can.
