New UPS 767 vanishes prior to take off as AI....Any ideas???

Using Posky's new 767ER UPS in GMAX, the aircraft vanishes as soon as it reads back " UPS 792 cleared for take off "....

I used AFCAD to add gates and cargo ramps to KDAL. After following all instructions the ramps and taxi ways checked out. Then I used AI Traffic Editor ver 1.1 to add 2 flights from Dallas to Houston Hobby taking off 3 minutes apart.

Now here's where I get lost. :-(

I set FS for the proper time, took the Jet Ranger down to the end of the runway and sat. First in line coming down the taxi way was my new UPS bird followed by a Delta 737..then the 2nd UPS 767.

The first UPS recieved clearance to take off and did. Then the Delta jet moves up and does the same. The 2nd UPS plane however would not move up to the hold short node.

There was another plane on final..I thought that was it but not so. That plane landed and cleared the runway but the UPS bird just sat there with AI traffic piling up behind it.

I read another thread that suggested placing another "blue traffic node" before the "hold short". I tried it then re-booted FS and tried again.

Now my UPS birds taxi away from the gates..and get into position at the "hold short" but when they acknowledge take off clearance.. POOF they vanish..

Any ideas anyone??

move your hold node VERY close to the r/w. this should fix it.

Thanks I'll give that a shot, but the "hold short" node is in the Stock position.. I never changed it.

I'll post the results..

UPS bird first in line.. Poof
Delta...did fine
Continental..did fine

2nd UPS bird...moved into position..acknowledged take off clearance...then Poof..vanished just like his brother..

I moved the "hold short" very close to the runway *drats*

Hmmmm Well I went back and deleted those flight plans and re-did 'em.

2 UPS posky 767's departing Dallas to Houston 3 minutes apart. I moved the "repeat time" to 4 hr intervals.

The 1st bird Poofed on me :-(
Delta...next in line O.K.
Continental... O.K.

The 2nd UPS bird did fine this time..*sigh* well at least I can call this 1/2**** success huh? :-lol

Any ideas as to what's goin' on here??
