I was in the middle of a flight for my VA (cpairva.com) when my computer crashed not to the desktop but to restart my computer. Now it asks me to do it safe mode and i try it in safe mode...and when i hit safe mode, i see whats on the second picturte...

i have read on other foruims on the net that i need my WIN XP boot disk...i lost or some how putt it somewhere i cant find it...

does anyone else have a windows xp boot disc i can use...

part of this problems was that i was on limewire this morning downloading songs and i searched photoshop maybe looking to at least upgrade my photoshop and i found a file that was looking like CS2 but only 4MB or so...i downloaded it..(had no antivirus at the time)....

if someone can send me a copy of windows xp disc i promise i will add an antivirus as soon as i get back on...

    OK,

I'll just share with you that a few months ago the same thing happened on my client machine and I ended up just re-installing Windows. The XP disk didn't do anything for me.
    Thanks,

    Jim

About the only thing I can see doing is to boot with your XP CD and try a system restore. If that doesn't work it's time to format and reinstall!

Well, without your winXP software, you'll either have to try and purchase the software again, (if you can find it). or go to Win7. Either way, you will have to format the drive, and you will lose everything that is currently on it.
