Thread: UHPP to UHMA

    Default UHPP to UHMA

Finally back on the internet and able to fly again. Oh yea! We here out of power for a week and a half and even longer to get the internet back and then to get it working well enough for uploads. We had a Christmas without lights.

Well here is my continuing global circumnavigation of the world in my P-38.

In the background you can see where a Yak-52 has parked since I initially landed during the night.

Another An-2 has showed up as well. Sorry girls I gotta be going now. Hope to see you again though.

On Google Earth it showed several aircraft being stored here and I just had to add some more parking and include these fine IL-18's in the flightplan. Just had to stop and take a screenie.

Here again is the MiG-31's I first saw on landing. The Japan Airlines flight buzzed me before I landed(previous post). Oddly I had to wait on another Japan Airlines flight as I sat waiting for take off clearance.

Final goodby to UHPP. At the right of the closest end of the runway you can see where I added more parking. My helicopters all moved over there.

Right about now I was questioning my decision of setting the manifold pressure to only 35 and propeller RPM to only 2500. That is the normal climb settings I use. Come Jenny climb a little faster!

Phew...no worries. Clear sailing from here to Anadyr.

Just enough clouds to keep it interesting, but not too difficult for flying.

Again I am wishing this P-38 was an Amphibian. I would be cool to drop in for a little fishing. I guess I know what my next aircraft of choice is going to be!

If you have't seen a tree till you have seen it from above, then what of the earth. One cannot see the forest for the trees and one cannot see the earth for the ground on which he stands.

This isn't one of my best setting sun shots, but it is still rather nice.

Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars...

Now how many aircraft out there come with a built in picture frame?

Ah..lined up so pretty for final. Jenny and me are looking for a little rest after a very long day of flying.

Here is my obligatory Mi-8 shot. According to "Scramble on the web" they really are everywhere, well in Russia anyways.

I have been adding this little An-2 just about everywhere I went, but I never saw it. I would see the red one, but not this blue one. Finally decided to go see why and the sim= section was wrong.

Enough site seeing, time to hit the sack.
