Default Aime LEClerc's new Tree Textures

Does anyone who has used these new textures, which btw, look great, been able to compare them with the tree textures in any of the payware add ons such as UTX? Thanks...

Could you include a link? I googled and got nothing.
The pilot is bound only by his mind and his machine. We must expand the mind before we expand the machine, and by expanding the mind, we may expand the machine. Our mind is being expanded by the sim. It is not a game.

His new textures are available in the flightsim scenery library...though only two of the three parts were there, last time I looked.
fwiw, I think his scenery modifications that I have used in the past have been fine. I was just wondering if anyone had made a comparison.

I have not tried them but all three parts are now in the library.

The name is spelled Aime Leclercq if you are searching.

Wanting to clarify your comment, Ultimate Terrain X does not change textures for trees.

Hmm, there's also 'rocks' and 'intermediate' packages available. Pretty big downloads to get 'em all, so I'll wait until some folks post their thoughts on them before I download them. They sound like they could be a good addition, though.

Curiosity got the best of me. I downloaded and installed all three tree segments. So far, what I have seen looks good....but, this is only in winter. i have not checked other seasons yet. btw, the bgls are all 1024x1024 so they have much higher resolution. I have not noticed any particular difference in fps.....but, my test has been very cursory so far.
