No - but a guess it might be a Ford. Looks a bit like a small Ford Trimotor.
I fly through the valley of death, but I fear no evil, for I am at 80,000 feet and climbing. Let's powerdive and scare that poor soul in that Ultralight there.
It's not a Ford -- only one engine, among other things. Might be a Ryan or a Stinson (looks Stinson-ish to me), or even a Waco. But the gear looks a bit like a Fairchild. Still, the closest match I've found is a Ryanair aircraft without the speedring. Note especially the nose and gear configurations. However, the corrugated-looking fuselage doesn't match that, either.

Larry N.
I've seen this one before but can't find it in my library. I won't sleep tonight until I find it. It has a slight resemblence to a Stinson Detroiter..maybe with a Packard Diesel. Still no cigar though. Maybe a Fokker. The Germans were big into corrogated aluminum skin. They had a Tri Motor looked just like a Ford. SPOFF
Hmm...not an expert on pre-WWII types, but looks like a Curtiss engine (or at least that's what I think is written on the cowling).
Curtiss Robin?
I know that I've seen pictures of another one like that, don't remember just where.
Where was the aircraft photographed? That might be a clue.
From the name on the ring, that is Jimmy Angel's plane, or a replica.
If it truly is what the Venezuelan government claims it to be, it is a Flamingo monoplane, built by Ryan Aeronautical.
That's IT. Even the picture is the same. How did you figure it out..?? SPOFF
PS: Now I can sleep tonight.
