I thought a 757 was a bit big for Innsbruck - isn't it a short runway?
Dave
The runway at Innsbruck Airport (08/26) is 2000m of lenghts, actually rwy 08 has a displaced threshold and is therefor only 1900m long (that's approx around 6500 feet).
At Innsbruck regularely land B757, B767, A310. The biggest plane ever landed at Innsbruck Airport was an A330.
Of course none of these planes carry a full load of fuel.
There is a good website where you find around 230 pic of planes at INN (LOWI). Lots of them showing Air 2000 B757 and A321. One also shows the A330. Great planes with great mountainious scenery in the background. Check it out!
