    Default Natural Wonders #3.

Staying in British Columbia but entering the the Eastern edge from Alberta for this flight as we explore the Yoho National Park.

At Banff airfield. Surrounded by mountains, Banff is the highest town in Canada situated at 4800ft.

Difficult not to annoy the local residents here!

Away we go, annoying another group of grizzlies as we take off.

Passing Sulphur mountain which in real life has a gondola cable car to the summit and is also home to the Banff Hot Springs.

Following the valley to Lake Louise, Castle Mountain visible to the right of the shot.

    Passing Castle Mountain.

    Over Lake Louise.

Turning to enter British Columbia and the Yoho National Park itself North of Lake Louise. Mount Hector is visible to the right of the shot.

In the park, surrounded by high peaks.

Emerald Lake is a popular attraction for tourists and lies in the mountains behind us.

    more in the reply.........

Looking Eastwards back across the heart of the park.

Descending through the valley which leads to the town of Golden.

Turning to set up for landing at Golden, careful not to get too close to the surrounding peaks.

    On the base leg.

    Nicely lined up...................

    ..........down we come.

    Parked at Golden.

    Thanks for looking
    Brian.

Love this series Brain. Keep it up!
The pilot is bound only by his mind and his machine. We must expand the mind before we expand the machine, and by expanding the mind, we may expand the machine. Our mind is being expanded by the sim. It is not a game.
