Default Question on FS Global 2010

Thinking about getting this for FS9... problem is I have alot of terrain addons... will it mess up any of the following?

    Ultimate Night Environment
    Ultimate Terrain (All)
    Ground Environment Pro
    Addon Meshes from flightsim.com

    Thumbs up

I have all of UT & FranceVFR installed, and FSGlobal 2010 (FS9) seems to get along with them quite well so far.

Thanks. I'm assuming that it's purely mesh data, so it wouldn't affect anything apart from my existing meshes, which I'll remove anyway.

Mixed and multiple meshes shouldn't cause problems. Unlike most scenery, I gather mesh simply uses the most detailed available, regardless of order in the scenery library.

Yep, it works with everything I have so far. GEX, UTX, and all the other acronyms.

The only issue that I have so far with FS Global 2010 is that it creates some "wall water" issues in some places. Basically FSX had the elevation off so far that it thinks that the water goes on the side of the mountain..

    Other than that, it's great!

Tom, you won't have any problems. I use Zinertec night lighting and also the other programmes you mention and it's as sweet as a nut.

FS Global 2010 includes an "airport fixer" utility (according to description) to change the airport altitude to avoid the mesa effect, etc. It also includes documentation somewhere (as did earlier versions) on changing globally water levels with various cautions on side effects noted.

I now use the 2008 version with no regrets.
