Problem with the instant re-play in Fs 2002

Can anybody help me? I have been struggling with this problem for several months now. After I land the 777 and try to view my landing using the instant replay, the landing gear mysteriously retracts and the aircraft lands on invisible wheels. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy!!
I have a Dell Dimension 8200 2.2 GHz P4 with 256k of ram and an NVIDIA Geforce 3 Ti 500

I fly ga a/c and havent had it happen, maybe you could try with the default baron and see if it happens...is the plane you are using a default...or add-on 777????

I'm using the default 777. I have tried almost everything, the only thing I’ve noticed is that if I take of, switch to slew mode to get to my destination, and then switch back to regular mode and land, the problem doesn’t seem to happen.

I have had troubles with instant replay, and even more with flight video it just won't work....I like the instant replay, you can watch from the tower, spot view, and it stinks that it isn't better, looks like the M$ dropped the ball, bigtime... :)

What kind of trouble have you had with the instant replay?

This is a problem with the replay feature. Lets say you've landed your 777 and want to watch a replay of your landing from final. You will notice the flaps adjust position to where they were during final and the gear is down, no problem.
Now lets say you want to watch from just before you begin the whole approach. The flaps adjust like normal according to what you did during the replay, but with the landing gear I have noticed one of two things happening: The gear retracts, and then instead of going down at the time you pressed g they stay put, or they remain down and then go back up when you pressed g.
Only when I start the replay from a time when the landing gear was down does the gear sequence play out normaly.
Odd thing is that it doesn't happen with all my planes. You will notice too that the engine(s) will not be running if you shut it down before you started the replay.
Only lights, flaps, and spoilers behave normaly during replay. Gear is hit and miss, and other control surfaces do nothing unless you move the stick while the replay is playing. Other traffic, you will notice, is also absent from the replay. So don't bother trying to watch a replay of that near miss with a cessna taking off in the opposite direction during your landing!

Sometimes the props don't move, and as stated above the plane is in landing configuration the whole time, I just think that it is some kind of automation that is behind it. There are a lot of little quirks...I can not get the flight video to work at all, in fact it almost always results in msfs2k2 just disappearing...hmmm :(

thanks for responding, as you can imagine this is driving me crazy. What kind of system/ graphics card do you have? Have you tried to get help with this problem?

I experience exactly the same troubles that you are describing. A few threads that I posted in different forums told me that it's a FS2002-bug.

Thanks for responding, at least now I know I'm not crazy. Do you know of anyone who's found a way to resolve this?
