Wow!! A Tony? Please tell me this is FSX. That aircraft is the first Japanese airplane to FINALLY have some armor! Modeled right after MY favorite aircraft, the Bf-109 Messerschmitt. Too bad it was too late getting to the air.
I believe the Swallow or Tony replaced the Oscar after learning that speed and agility still couldn't keep them from being peppered by 6 guns over their little 2.
Great aircraft. Please share a link if you don't mind.

Neat shot Mike. Also one of the few Japanese WWII fighters to have an inline engine.
Nice edit Mike. Nice and simple.
The pilot is bound only by his mind and his machine. We must expand the mind before we expand the machine, and by expanding the mind, we may expand the machine. Our mind is being expanded by the sim. It is not a game.
Great shot of the Kawi Mike, liking that one!Got a question for you, being kind of a military historian as you are, have you ever come across a bird known as the XF-84H Thunderscreech? I learned of its existance just recently and it really piqued my curiosity, seems it was the fastest prop driven aircraft ever developed,(670 kts) but it had a major problem,at take off it was so loud that it actually made the groung crew nauseated on spool up.The prop blade tips went supersonic and it emitted a constant series of sonic booms when flown....very interesting design!![]()
Nice, I like it.
Available for FS9 right here @ Flightsim Gary,

FS2004 New FDE's For Republic XF-84H. New FDE's for Kazinuri Ito's XF-84H Thunder Screech (XF84H059.ZIP). Fixes all the problems, so it now flies Mach 1.05, lands good, better flaps/spoilers 'setup' permits easy land at 100 kts. Sound included. No panel. Fly with auto-coordination 'off' for an added 'treat'. Try a pylon course at 500+ kts with amazing control. Mods by Charles Backus.

FS2002/FS2004 Republic XF-84H Thunder Screech. This airframe is an experimental machine that adopted a turboprop with a big output and a supersonic propeller that was paid attention assuming that high speed and the large flying power can be achieved. This is the fastest propeller aeroplane in the world with the speed record of 670 mph (1,078 km/h) as an informal record. However, the shock wave by the high velocity revolution of the propeller is generated, and the aircraft with the largest noise in history . Parties concerned named this aircraft "Thunder Screech" from this thing. By Kazunori Ito. (See also XF84_FIX.ZIP)
Thanks for the reples everyone!
