Default Pre-WW2 flight: Vickers Vernon RAF

Took this freeware vintage JBK bird on a (FSX) flight from Andrewsfield (didn't know Andrew Claridge has his own private strip) South to Wisley in Surrey. Wisley was a "secret" parallel strip next to Brooklands. All original buildings looked like farmhouses, even the control tower.

    Ready at Andrewsfield

Over the river Thames and the London Docks

    Over Surrey, close to Brooklands

The landing at Wisley in the reply:

    Descending over Brooklands

Brooklands in the 30's had a famous flying school and the Vickers factory was situated there

Turning towards Wisley, only 4 miles away from Brooklands

This shed must be an after WW2 one

Taxiing to the original "camouflaged" buildings

Parked in front of the "tower"

    Thanks for looking!
    GREETS!

Jan, that's your're name... Kept forgetting it. Fantabulotious shots JAN!!!
The pilot is bound only by his mind and his machine. We must expand the mind before we expand the machine, and by expanding the mind, we may expand the machine. Our mind is being expanded by the sim. It is not a game.

    Pre-WW2 is right! Wonderful set!

How well does she fly? Must be cold on that cockpit!

Thanks Constinator Alex and Hansz, much appreciated!

Alex, she behaves very gentle, even on a (slow) approach with a little crosswind. The open cockpit is cold, but a small bottle of rum helped a bit
