fs2004 stopped working

I had just downloaded some new woai packages and then when I opened up fs2004 i started getting a message aircraft initialization failure cessna skyhawk 172sp and then fs2004 shuts down with the message that it is not working can anyone help me.

Just downloading something is not going to affect FS one way or another.

Did you install something and if so, exactly what?

Also, what Operating System are you using - Xp, Vista or Win 7 ?
