Aerowinx PS 1.3

Anyone here use PS 1.3 744 software? Is it worth the nearly $300.00 price?

That depends on what you are looking for.
PS is being used as a CRT for real life 747 pilots. All systems of an actual 747-400 are included and you can even use a real life 747 manual to operate PS13.
If you are looking for a quick flight however or nice scenery then PS is nothing for you. PS13 is the most acurate flightdeck sim out there and only if you are willing to take every flight to the max in terms of planning and managing then maybe you'll like PS13. Graphics are functional but nothing fancy, even dated, so it's only for the real enthousiasts.
I am using PS13 and I like it very much, but if you want it as a game, then look for something else.

Thanks for your response. Having read the review of PS1.3 in AVSIM, I was impressed by the comprehensive nature of the flight deck. Your assesment sheds more light on the software and what I might expect from it. The "gaming" element of PS 1.3 (if there is one) as for any other aviation sim, is not, for me, the driving force behind flight simulation. Again, thank you,

If you haven't yet ordered PS1.3, I reccommend looking into a far less expensive option. 767PIC provides nearly the same level of realism, along with the external visuals of FS2002. In my opinion it's the ultimate marriage of ultra real sims like PS1.3 and the wonderful visuals and performance of FS2k2.
