Thread: Elvis, Elvis, Elvis!

  1. Default Elvis, Elvis, Elvis!

Ok, I think I've got it this time.
    __________

In the spring of 1975, Elvis purchased a Convair 880 after recently being put out of service by Delta Airlines. Elvis had decided upon a four engine jet because it gave him a sense of security and safety; Elvis had a fear of flying.

Here's a photo of the Convair while it was still in service with Delta Airlines:

A photo of the now, Lisa Marie.:

A rare photo of Elvis inside the Lisa Marie:

    Elvis deplaning (terrible word).

Now, to make this post actually legal, some shots of the Lisa Marie in the world of FS2004.

Since we are on the topic of Elvis, here's my favorite Elvis photo. Yes, I know, it has nothing to do with aviation. This was shot during his rehearsal concert for his worldwide television broadcast, "Aloha From Hawaii" which was set to go on air 2 days later on January 14, 1973.

    Nice application. Good shots.
The pilot is bound only by his mind and his machine. We must expand the mind before we expand the machine, and by expanding the mind, we may expand the machine. Our mind is being expanded by the sim. It is not a game.

Boy, do I wish that I could take that trip down memory lane. I missed him by 2 years. He was born in 1977, I was born in 1979.
