A Finnish Midsummernight's Dream (FSX)

I always wanted to experience this in real life, never was able to so far, so here's the virtual version. With a Finnish Air Lines DC-2 from Oulu to a small field in the upper North of Finland on the 21st of June. It's late in the evening and the sun stayed above the horizon.

wow that is stellar, jan. all gorgeous but im gonna have to give # 5 one of my patented "frameable" awards. at least u got to experience it this way. my very first time on an airplane was a short hop in a dc-3 from indianapolis to chicago. i was about 9 or 10, and even though it was a short flight they served swiss steak, which just happened to be a favorite of mine. the whole experience was unforgettable to me.

you know if im ever really wealthy - and who the hell knows - im gonna invite you and carlos to accompany me on some flights around europe and south america. carlos can have the left seat, hes got way more hours than me and he still flies - but you and i can take turns in the right seat. did i ever ask you if youre also a real world pilot? well youre invited regardless. btw, hope the truck sales are going better these days.

wow jan i sure hope it doesnt happen. i lost a good job this february - it was outsourced to the phillipines - and have been struggling ever since. thats why i have no computer that can flightsim. ive got my old system in storage in florida, but i cant afford to get it and it had just broken down anyway. i will keep good thoughts for you my friend.
