A one hour flight from London to Dublin aboard Aer Lingus 165.
Departing the gate at Heathrow, a fleet of British Midland aircraft at their stand behind our A321.
Take off, many different aircraft sitting on the ramps below us.
Over the city of Bristol, about to cross the channel into Wales.
About to cross the West Wales coastline and start our descent over the Irish Sea.
Clearance given to enter the approach pattern to start our route into Dublin.
As we descend the ever present UK rain starts to batter against the fuselage as I fight the gusting winds.
The Poolbeg Electricity generating station is one of Dublins most recognisable landmarks, the two chimneys sit at over 207M high and can be seen from much of the city.
Final approach to our destination.
Nearly down, the chimneys now much higher than we are.
Parked amongst our sister aircraft at Dublin International Airport.
Thanks for looking
Brian
