Angry random fs9 shutting down approaching airports - help

    hi,

having really annoying issues with fs9 basically has happened in the last few weeks.....i get random shut downs from fs9 sometimes at the gate after an hour of prep and othertimes approaching airfields, just flew to helsinki nil traffic or big demands on the gpu and had a shut down on finals......

trying to think what i have installed to cause this....havent tweaked with fs9.cfg for ages, .could it be my scenery priority that needs tweaking have installed a few scenery addons lately i guess it it just a matter of de installing each scenery (airfield) one by one and seeing if that is causing it. Occassionally i get a "pc has run out of memory message" and fs9 shuts down....could this be the real cause of it....

any advice would be welcomed as usual.....thanks in advance

I had the same incident last night with a FranceVFR scenery. It was a 3 1/2 flight from LFLL to LFQQ. Just as I was almost over the Thrush-Hold at LFQQ, my FS9 did a CTD. I hope someone has an answer/fix to this minor annoyance.

There could be a number of things at the root of the problem.

Try disabling scenery and also try turning off AI traffic and then see if you can duplicate the issue.

All it takes is a bad texture or a bad bgl (almost anywhere) to trigger such strange events.

i see i might try disabling scenery and see.....i tend to save a system restore point each time i install something new so it will be matter of trying to replicate this again....

    keep you posted
