Thread: Malta to Rome onboard Alitalia

Default Malta to Rome onboard Alitalia

Well I read that Alitalia is phasing out it's MD-80's with A-320's. So I guess I have to get in the flying while I can, LOL! Watch for more flights around Italy and then back out to France, Spain, Britain, and back to Germany. The landing was pretty hairy as just as I was lining up on final, the weather gen kicked in and the visibility went to less than 5 miles.

Heya Andy. Good nightcap here, enjoyable shots, bud. Man, that's a long one, that MD-80 model. Looks like you handled her a-okay.

Very sad to see the Mad Dogs being phased out. They've been very good work horses. Hope they will be flying for some time to come.

Anyway, I really enjoyed your shots!! . Very beautiful part of the world, you captured it VERY well!!
    Take Care,
    Dave

I love that Alitalia MD-80s, sad to see them go slowly and so do the SAS and Spanair ones...

    Beautiful Pictures!

    Thumbs up

Very good! Well done! Although... You see the white Airbus in the 1st picture? DO NOT leave it where Dave can see it or it'll end up like Andrews 737 or my A320! No offence Dave!
