FSAcars w/ Windows 7

To any VAs using FSAcars,

We have had several pilots test FSAcars with Windows 7 and the good news is that all seems to work well except for one minor annoyance.

When a pilot clicks on the Online drop down list box to select which network he is flying on, the drop down list box doesn't uh... drop down.

Has anyone else experienced this? Have you found a work around for it?

I would post a message in the FSAcars forum, except that my registration has been pending for over two months.

Many thanks for the posting which has been an issue waiting to crop up as Virtual Pilots change over to Windows 7.

The work around for the time being is when a pilot (using Windows 7) gets to the Online dropdown box, simply turn on your caps lock use V for Vatsim, I for IVAO, etc.

Dont have windows 7, so pardon my ignorance, but does any text appear in the drop down menu or is it blank?
In case you can see some text in the drop down menu, just click it and press the down arrow to get to your choice. I do this in vista.

The drop down List does not drop down even if you click on it with the mouse. Funny how all the other drop down lists work ok, except that one.

Sorry for not being clear, english is a second language to me, what I meant was click the text/etc. inside the box (like you would highlight something). Once it becomes blue, then press the down arrow. The next choice will come and so on. Would that work?

No this does not work. Highlighting the box and then using a Capital V for Vatsim or Capital I for IVAO, etc. is the only thing that seems to work.

I believe it's a Windows 7 issue - we've had a few issues with combobox rendering on Win7 with our ACARS package.
