    Default Aircraft Icons Messed up

I have a relatively new install of FSX with about a dozen addon aircraft currently installed.
The majority of the Aircraft are showing the wrong picture in the sircraft selection screen is there a way fixing this?

Check for the presence of a file named thumbnail.jpg in each of the texture folders for any aircraft you have added.

If it is missing, FSX is "supposed " to substitute a generic picture with a quetion mark.

That apparently does not always happen and the picture display gets messed up.

To correct the situation you can find a jpg of the aircraft in question and add it to the proper texture folder - just be sure it is named thumbnail.jpg. FSX should then display that picture properly.

Note that you must add a thumbnail.jpg to every texture folder if there are multiple "paints" (variations).

    Hope that helps.
