The Archer

Hi, Going through several sim sites, I see plennty of archers to download in wonderful colors and schemes. My question is: Do you have to already have dreamfleets archer installed in order to get these? Avsim has several and so does flight sim. I see that some authors have written that certain ones are for dreamfleet and require textomatic, while others don't say this at all. Thanks, Beamer

If they say they need Text-o-matic then yes, you first need to buy the Dreamfleet Archer which comes with the ToT tool. ToT is a graphical tool which applies the paint textures to the aircraft for you.

The other Archers you talk about might be stand alone freeware jobs in which case you just download like any other freeware aircraft. On flightsim.com, use the "View" option in the file list and have a look at the readme.txt - it should tell you how to install the file and anything else you need.
