Exclamation Saitek X-52 Pro programming help

I just picked up an X-52 PRO and, while a great stick, there are problems. The main one being my profiles won't activate.

As soon as I got it, I got the latest drivers and SST software. Everything's fine. But, my PC suddenly shut down in the middle of programming (due to a Game Booster security message), and now, everytime I try to activate or save a profile, it kindly informs me of that dreaded message:

(filename) does not contain a profile for this device.
The device has not been profiled.

    So I can't use my X-52!

But the strange thing is, I have the latest SST (6.6.6.9 I think is the latest, tell me if it isn't) and drivers. All other forums and the Saitek website say that it will be down to old software, and everyone gets a problem solved when they download the latest.

I'm reckoning it's a corrupt file, either on download, installation or this GameBooster shutdown, so I'm doing a fresh install of the software. But I'd lose my profiles... so am I able to 'hide them away' where the SST can't 'see' them, say My Documents, then copy and paste?

Cheers for your help in advance.

Just a possible, but if you are running Vista, make sure you run the SST software as adminisrator.

No worries, it wasn't the SST.

The drivers, it would appear, though being the correct ones, didn't install correctly. So I reinstalled them and had the same message, but I clicked repair and it magically worked.

Problem solved, thanks for the suggestion boubou!
