Hi all,

In my post over at FSShipyards.org, I put the call out to ship builders/texture artist that could pitch in on a huge project coming up. This was in relation to building U.S. ships to be included in a simulation platform named Underway!!. I am one of the developers involved in this project, and I am working on updating my U.S ships,{ones that can be found at FSShipyards} along with versions of my payware LHA {can be found over at Simmarket} to be included in this project. This project will add an entirely new aspect to flightsim naval, ground, and air combat elements never before seen on this scale {if at all!!!} in Flightsim.

The Underway! program will be one of the interfaces part of Naval Engagement. Naval Engagement! is the premier multi-player real time multi-warfare simulator. The simulator currently interfaces with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004/X. Coming soon will be an interface for X-Plane. Custom interfaces have also been developed for non-flight simulator players:

Captain!
Captain! allows a player to be the controller of a platform.

Commander!
Commander! allows a player to act as a battle Commander.

Controller!
Controller! allows a player to act as a CATCC or Air Traffic Controller on a ship (such as an aircraft carrier), plane (AWACS, E-2), or land (as in a tower). These three programs are standalone and do not require a flight simulator.

Overall, the network will be international, with people from all over the globe participating in naval, air, and ground combat scenarios. All ships, aircraft and ground vehicles that will be used will/need to be freeware. If you are a naval buff like me, then your/my dreams are about to come true!!!

I'm putting out the call for ship builders from all over the world to build/submit warships they have built, that can be used.
We currently need ships from the Russian Navy to start, {of which there a so few available either freeware or payware}. We will be looking for ships from the UK, France and China and pretty much everywhere in between!!smile
