Default UK VFR Tour // Leg 15 // Compton Abbas to Bristol // Photo Scenery

Leg 15 of the tour sees us head North West from Compton Abbas to Bristol. I hope you enjoy the shots of this scenic flight.

    <<Map to follow later>>

    1) It’s raining at the moment but looking at the gauges, I see that fuel is looking a little low so decide to head to the pumps to top up.

    2) I make my way past the empty picnic benches towards the fuel pump…

    3) I don’t know what “Micro petrol” is but I fill up anyway as it’s the only stuff they’ve got!

    4) By the time I’ve filled up with fuel, the rain has stopped so I’m good to go!

    5) Beginning the take off roll…

    6) Soon I find I’m into some thick cloud…

    7) Have you ever felt a bit small?

    8) It isn’t too long before the weather is improving in my favour…

    9) A quarry!

    Thanks guys!

Ian, I don't intend to purchase FSX. FS has taken up so much of my time (and money) over the years since FS5. I'm sticking with it for now but after I've finished this tour I am conseidering knocking FS on the head altogether and calling it a day.

WOW!!! Another fine installment of your amazing tour Andrew ~ I am lovin' the shots and the story. You should do an EBook of this ~ I have the software for them.

WHAT???? I hope you are not serious about leaving FS altogether... (I) will sorely miss you, as will everyone else I am sure. Please don't leave Andrew... we all enjoy your presence here on the Forum.

Andrew; I got your PM. Thanks for explaining ~ sorry if I seemed to jump too fast on that last remark.
