Mad dogs & Englismen 3: Friedrichshafen

After a 'brief' stop for a snack (rainy Sunday syndrome! ), we're off again. This time to Friedrichshafen (EDNY) on the shores of Lake Constance.


Before Take off checks complete: Golf Mike Alpha ready for departure


Passing over the Monts Faucilles and into the Rhine valley. The cloud base doesn't give us a lot of space here


The Rhine is the border between France and Germany. Strasbourg is on our right and Baden-Baden to our left. There's a nice little corridor between them that we can pass through.


Finally we catch a glimpse of Lake Constance


Right base for runway 24. Friedrichshafen is home to Dornier and Zeppelin, as well as hosting Aero Europe (the European equivalent to Oshkosh)


Final. We've obviously missed the air show - the place is deserted!
