Tell me About Game Booster?

I've been hearing about Game Booster?

I'm looking for something that will automatically
turn off all processes running in the background.
And I want to be able to turn them back on.

I've always been afraid to shut down the background
processes, because I don't know what is needed and
what's not.

As usual, I need something idiot proof.

Does Game Booster work?

Can whatever it does be easily undone without messing
up my computer/FSX?

Is there something better?

I can make a very small improvement on slower computers. Higher end computers usually see no improvement whatsoever. Its free and its easy to use so just try it and see what it does for you. You may find this review helpful:

Really funny actually, I was just doing a test with game booster. My PC runs FSX very well and I saw an improvement by about 3 frames. It's free, fast and easy to use so you can't go wrong even If you only get about 3 frames. Give it a try.

I have been using it for several months now - simple to use and I have had no issues with it.

Give it a shot - don't think you will be dissapointed.

It only shut down 7 processes on my computer,
so I probably won't see much improvement.

Hi. I have used a utility called SMART CLOSE that closes everything in my window on the lower right. I got it sometime ago I beleive here at flightSim. Or Google it if you are interested.

It had no effect on REX, UTX or GEX.

It works fine, but I didn't see any improvement.
It only shut down 7 background resources.

But, my computer is just the basic store bought
retail Windows XP and FSX stuff, nothing else.
