Already have a full set-up of CH stuff (yoke and fighter stick/throttle/quadrant) as well as the Saitek yoke, throttles and pedals, but ...this Logitech set-up will be force feedback and I always thought the CH fighter stick felt a bit...too easy to move. Might just have to get it. Should be out @ Sept. and cost @$299.

I have to admit I have one of their game pads that's been in my grubby hands for three years. Not used much, but dropped a lot. It is now falling apart, but not in a way that was from dropping; one of the stick top pads has come off, due to my recent infatuation with MLB 2k9.

I don't know what really to tell you what to expect. A lot of people really bad mouth the company, but it is a reasonably priced line of goods, but $299.99 isn't. It has always been a middle of the road type of quality there. I don't know if I would run out and invest in them until hearing some feedback, or at least really giving them a once over in a store. To be honest that picture makes me question some things.

Pesonally, I place Logitech firmly ahead in the world of input devices for the PC. Honestly, I never heard people talk poorly about them, it's usually the opposit. For quality, I always thought they were as good as it gets. They ae not some new, upstart small time company. I coul be a fanboy though, after many years of going throug many many computers, parts, mouse, keyboard and whtever else, I now (for the last 5 years maybe) only buy logitech mouse and keyboards and have never been disapponted. Also got thir G13 and that ting is great.

However, I never used a logitech joystick (actually have one on order now to go with the mini-itx FSX computer I am making thogh). Started out ith a MS sidewinder. MS force feedbck, then came CH...whch is a great set-up and is lasting e forever and now a saitec yoke set-up (still on CH for a flgth stick).

This set-up I am interested in for the force feedback. I alwaysl liked the MS force feedback stick I had...till it broke and was no longer sold. And I have been wanting to get a force feedbac stick again. Hopefully Logitec does a good job with it. And yes, I agree $299 is a bit steep.

Agreed, Logitech are right up there when it comes to quality and their after sales and warranty handling is the best in the business.

Looks like a great set up if you need to buy from scratch, but many will have rudder pedals already and might go for a different HOTAS for cost considerations, will be interesting to see how Saitek's forthcoming rumored FF HOTAS will compare to this?

Regarding the Logitech unit, putting the trim wheels on the base of the stick seems like a bad idea, surely they would be better placed on the throttle?

What I would really like is a high quality FF Yoke.
