A flight in an Iran Air Fokker 100 at 29,000ft will see me going from Tel Aviv to Iran's capital city Tehran.
Taxiing to the active runway at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International.
Take off viewed by the tower controllers at Tel Aviv.
Over the city of Damascus. Damascus is the capital of Syria and has a population of approx 4M. It is the oldest continually habited city in the world.
Over Iraqs capital city Baghdad. It is the largest Iraqi city and the second largest city in the Arab world with an estimated population of 6.5M.
As I approach Tehran the sun shines it's last light of the day on the horizon.
Final approach at Tehran.
Parked at Tehran, time to find a hotel close to the airport ready for the early morning start which will take me onwards to Kabul. Tehran is the largest city in the Arab world and has a population of 7.5M.
Thanks for looking
Brian
