Does anyone know how to make the AI traffic fit the country. I have aircraft shuffler and I do run it but I still get a lot of Soar, Landmark etc. i would live to replace them with united, american etc???

You must have the repaints of United, American etc. And you can't get realistic traffic all over the world cause you would need many many repaints and aircraft but that number is limited. With AI shuffler the program replaces every other traffic in the rest of the world with the default repaints and that's why I don't use AI shuffler.
Download repaints of FS2002 aircraft and create a new texture
folder in that aircrafts file, such as Texture.DALpaint3, or
whatever you want to name it. Then open that aircrafts CFG file
and make all the changes you need in there, being sure where it
says texture=, you have DALpaint3, or whatever you named it. You
can also download FS2000 aircraft, create a folder calling it
maybe B737_2000K, and then pretty much the same as the FS2002
folder. Remember, all you need to change for more aircraft is the
texture folder with a new designator. Think I gave it to you
straight.
Below will give you an idea. Hope you get it to work.

However, it wasn't always that way\s in the first few years of production, there were so few orders that Boeing considered canceling the program. They didn't, and the airplane has more than proven itself in over three decades of service.

Thanks for the info. I allready have the repaints of many aircrafts with many liveries from around the world. Its just that I still have most of the AI traffic in FS 2002 default liveries. What I want to do is instead of seeing the Soar aircraft to see a real world airline aircraft. The only way that I can think of to do it is to go into the traffic.bgl file and chance the aircraft numbers, but that would be an awsome task for 23000 flight plans.
My understanding of traffic shuffler is that it does exactly that. It knows where the flights are origination ie the US, and randomly assigns an american livery aricraft to that flight. Maybe I was wrong!!
Anyways, any more thought would be appreciated
Thanks
;; It knows where the flights are origination ie the US, and randomly assigns an american livery aircraft to that flight.
Right and wrong. It assaigns any suitable aircraft for the flight. Suitable aircafts for a flight originated in US is one of:
- Aircraft under US flag
- Aircraft of "global" carrier
All default aircraft in FS are in the second category. So, if you have 2 B747's under US flag and the 3 default ones, you will have more than half of the AI flights flown by default FS carriers.
One way to get rid of default liveries in TShuffler is to uncheck them on the aircraft list. But then you should have some other "global" liveries (FedEx,UPS,...) for every aircraft class.
