I would like an opinion.....when programing the FMC in a 737, at what point do you enter the arrival runway or STARS? Ive been making a selection during the intial setup before departure, but more then often, if I request landing clearance when I arrive, Im given a different runway then what I selected. If I change my selection at that point and re-enter the STAR, wont that confuse the programming in the FMC? Or, will I be much too close to the airport to now enter a STAR route? Just wondered how some others are doing this. Thanks
