DreamWings DeHavilland Dash 8 Q200

The DreamWings Dash 8 Q200 I downloaded for FS2k4 looks great and flys well, but while on the ground, it tends to do a lot of nose gear bouncing, whether your taxiing,on a take off run, or landing. I can grease the best landing in the world, but after touch down and the plane starts to slow, the plane will go into this erratic bouncing. I've tried many different ways of triming, changing the payload balance, etc, but nothing seems to make it go away. It's a great aircraft and I really like it a lot and won't give it up, even if I have to live with it this way, I was just wondering if someone knew something about it that I don't ??? ajax56

I had the same problem with the dreamwings Dash 8 - although with the Dash8-100 model. But I think you are suffering the same problem.

I am not at my home PC right now, but remember that it has something to do with the 'empty_weight_CG_position' in the aircraft.cfg file.

[WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE]
max_gross_weight = 34500.000
empty_weight = 22882.000

reference_datum_position = 0.000, 0.000, 0.000
empty_weight_CG_position = 1.500, 0.000, 0.000

As far as I remember I changed the 1.500 value to 1.000 and the problem was gone.

Try experimenting a little with this value, and I am sure you will find a solution.
