    Default Nvidia Driver 182.08

I just downloaded the latest driver from Nvidia, 182.08 released March 3rd and will install it shortly depending on any reactions from this forum. The one previous to this has been giving me the dreaded blue screen with the error "nv4_disp.dll.... blah, blah, blah.
Any good or bad news regarding this driver?

I have it installed on my system and all is well. No problems at all and I have flown dozens of hours with it.

I never install drivers of any kind unless I HAVE to, on the premise "if it ain't broke don't fix it"
But if you get the blue screen I'd say install the drivers to try to fix it, you've got zilch to lose..

That was my philosophy for many years until just recently. When I started having the blue screen problems among several other anomalies I talked to my MIS manager at work who is also a big gamer. His immediate response was to ask whether or not I had updated my driver. According to him, not all of the updates are solely for the purpose of better graphics but have to do with mating up properly with your Windows OS. It would make sense that your OS and graphics card have to play well together. He recommended keeping the most recent graphics driver on my machine at all times. But just in case, I keep my last best driver in storage so I can go back to it if the new one gives me problems.

If you have Spyware Doctor installed you will have a world of grief. There is a conflict between the 2 that doesn't allow a screen resolution higher than 640x480. I know it sounds bizarre, but I've been fighting this problem for a week. I just found the answer this am while googling the problem.

I have Spybot and Avast right now on my pc. I installed the 182.08 driver just today and haven't fired up the FSX yet. If I run into any more problems, I might try disabling those before I fly. I have heard about these conflicts before but haven't paid much attention to them.
