    Default Cirrus SR 22

Is there ANY possible way to change the aircraft.cfg to keep those *#@% DATA BLOCKS on at ALL times. Every time I change to the Cirrus I have to go through that hassle of turning them on and it is getting annoying. Even if I enlarge the screen they disappear! I LIKE the data blocks on all the time. I know there is an Eaglesoft gauges administrator here and he's a nice guy, maybe he will know?

    Thanks.

I fly the Eaglesoft SR22 G3 a lot. I'm a little confused at what you mean....

What do you mean by data blocks?

On the MFD, rotate the left knob till you see set up. Then click the button that says DATA BLOCKS, then click the SAVE button. That bit of information will now be shown in the upper left corner of the MFD when the knob is now rotated all the way back to the left. It has a LOT of useful information in it at a glance, such as fuel left, and such.

Unfortunately, somewhere along the line the "file save" feature got busted. The MFD is supposed to save a config file to keep track of your prefered config for the data block(s).

Sooner or later we'll wind up rewrapping the installer, and when we do I'll make sure that an updated MFD gauge will default to having the left data block "on" instead of "off...

Now that was what I was looking for Bill, a civil and instructive answer. I appreciate it. In the meantime, is there a file I can modify to change it so that it stays on all the time?

And since I can no longer post in the forum (they kicked me off because they could not tolerate the truth that it actually does not work when they says it does) will I be notified somehow when it is updated?

I was THIS close to buying another of their products but their moderators are user-hostile so I will be buying Flight 1's new Mustang instead. Please do believe me when I say I really appreciate your helpful answer.

Paul, you were removed because you comments were abusive and well over the line.

Bill, can that config save include things like PFD/MFD brightness? I seem continually to be turning it down (it also seems to reset when you exit the popup display)

Tim, please take this to our support forum. We do not wish to use Nels bandwidth for our product support.
