  1. Default Payware Quality Twin-Engines?

Is there any freeware payware quality twin-engine (2) avalibile in FSX? Something like the baron 58. What are some other aircraft that i might try?

Best one of all the aerosoft / digital aviation piper cheyenne. Absolute delight to fly, has minor gps bugs but fixes are being tested.

But those are both payware, the poster asked about FREEWARE.

Here is a really nice Piper Seminole:

There is also a really nice Cessna 310 but I'll have try and find out where I got it from.

    Default Premaircraft

Barry Blaisdell's site has a very nice Beech 1900C, plus also a Shorts 330 and Shorts Sherpa, as well as a Caribou, and the usual assortment of Otters and turbo Otters

AFG's freeware King Air works in FSX with a few glitches.
For something a little bigger, look for Rick Piper's HS748. It's an FS9 plane but there's an update for FSX.

    Freeware that is payware quality?

Not many that I know of but here is one that may interest you.

The Bristol Beaufighter by Dave Garwood and www.cbfsim.org (BEAUFSX.ZIP)

It's a bit bigger than a Baron (and a bit older too) and carries less passengers but it does have two engines, 3D gauges (like RealAir) and great sounds. You'd be hard pressed to find a higher quality freeware plane for FSX.

    No good freeware twins....

If you email Alexander Metzger at his site he will send you an excellent Baron BE58 flight dynamics update for the default Baron. It flies great.
