    Default AI Take-off Sounds.......

Not sure if this was implemented in FSX, but I use FS9........has there been a method or way in the past few years to get a good spool up sound from an airliner as it is setting t/o thrust when holding short behind it? I'm pretty sure the sound would be the same for all AI, I remember that being a limitation, but better something than nothing.

The correct sound should be one hell of a pretty good roar, but I've only heard a faint, almost non existant sound in FS9. The other day, I loaded up Flight Unlimted 3 on a nostalgia sort of flight, and in that sim, you get a good representation of this.

    Best,

It's payware, but I use FSHotSFX to produce sounds for the AI. Works great and is easy to use.

But(!), it is no longer supported by the developer so expect no help if you have issues with it. I bought it just before Christmas and it works great and makes airports come alive.
