Have a strange problem and looking for an assist.
Running Vista x64 on an EVGA 790i SLI FTW mother board w/ EVGA 9800GT video board and 6GB of DDR3. FSX runs perfectly, no problems at all. FS-9 is being a bit cranky. The 'S' key will not change the view from the keyboard or from the joystick (Saitek X-52). If I attempt to change views, it may lock up the view, may change but not to the new view (cockpit to virtual cockpit), may partially change (instruments but not the outside) or, it may sit there and just look dumb. If I click in the GPS on the 2D screen, it works fine, but when I deselect the GPS, I have to go to the 'Views' drop-down menu and mouse select the cockpit again. If I do not, the screen is frozen, engines running, but going nowhere - quick.
Again, FSX is working fine, the problem seems to be FS-9 related. FSX and FS-9 are both 32 bit programs and being translated (emulated) as 64 bit. It is strange that one works fine, the other does not.
There may be other keyboard switches that don't work which I haven't found yet, but this one is quite noticeable.
Anybody have a fix or a good work-around for this one?
