    Default Clearing a flight plan from the default flight

    I can't seem to get rid of a flight plan from the default flight, and if I change the flight and re-save it as the default the original flight plan still seems to be there.

    I have tried to clear it on the flight plan page to no avail. Can anyone help?

    Thanks.
    Wouldn't it be lovely to have a job that you enjoy so much, that when you get home from work you run computer simulations of it?

    You'll need to edit thr FLT file for your default flight (it's just like a cfg file that you'd change when you add a paint). You need to do two things:

    * In the [ATC_Aircraft.0] section, set ActiveFlightPlan=False

    * Delete the [ATC_ActiveFlightPlan.0] section

    Unfortunately, there's no way to clear the flight plan from the UI.

    Thanks a lot for that, I did suspect as much. It was giving me problems with connecting to VATSIM via FSInn.

    EDIT: Tim - where is that file located in FSX?

    Cheers.

    My Documents\Flight Simulator X files (along with all the saved flight plans)

    Yes, FSInn really hates flight plans, doesn't it!

    Neither of those lines are in the flight plan file... I have this:

    EDIT: Have found a workaround by loading a flight I knew I had with no FP and re-saving that as default. Would still appreciate an answer however! Thanks.

    All my FLT files have those lines, so I don't know why the difference. You could always try deleting the [GPS_ENGINE] section, since that's listing your flight plan (make a backup first).

    Will do, thanks.
