Laptop Monitor With the computer

I was wondering, i have a computer with a graphics card, thats support 2 monitors, so can i connect it to my laptop(acer) and view it as a second screent their?

If the laptop has a video in port you could.

Another way is to network the two and use MaxiVista. I did this for a long time.

Also, desktop is vista and laptop is xp.
