Baron 58 RXP and Vista 32

Hey

I've searched nearly every single corner of this website for at clue to how on earth I get the Baron 58 to work on Vista 32bit (home basic). I can run the installer etc, and I have shut down my security applications (like said in an other post) - BUT! I can't install the Garmin Trainer to the GNS530, I get a "Access Denied" error when it tries to extract What's wrong??

It states at the dreamfleet2000 website, that the baron is okay to run on Vista 32 - but for some reason I just can't Any help would be appriciated, and if there is no way to run it with the Garmin Trainer and GNS530, then I would like to have a refund if possible, as I then don't see any reason to have this aircraft in the fleet

It is to be said that it is for FS9 - and yes, I do have the update to 9.1

START - CONTROL PANEL - USER ACCOUNTS .....Turn User Account Control On or Off. Turn it off. (Uncheck the box) See if that wont cure the problem.

Hi Skjold,

If you're getting "access denied" then "something" is blocking its execution. If UAC has been disabled possibly this is your anti-virus package. Some need to be fully uninstalled, others have multiple "threads" all of which need to be deactivated.

Have you also tried downloading and running the Zipped version of the Trainer from here (bottom of page) :
