A problem with logging in

The "Remember Me" function does not want to remember me...

Everytime I visit the forums, I have to do a full login despite having checked the "remember" box.

Is it me? Is there a malfunction with the page code?

You know, the same thing has been happening to me. Not here, but at my bank. Turns out that my cookies & stuff are regularly cleaned out each & every computer session here... & it was a cookie in the files that needed to remain in order for my bank's online services to "remember me". No real big deal. Just have to answer an extra security question before being able to see that my account still has few funds in it.

Anyhoo, am thinking that if you clear your cookies, etc. then this could very well be the reason you have to jump through the hoop again each time logging in., my friend. Could be wrong. Am wrong a lot.

Being a touch paranoid about identity theft keeps me clearing out the cookies. You know, there is a Paranoia Anonymous group that meets regularly here in town. Just can't get anyone to tell me where they meet!
