    Default Some Zlin Z-142 Practice

I did this flight shortly after getting my new PC when I was playing around with the graphics settings. This is one of many flights I've done that originally I wasn't planning on taking any shots of, but when I loaded up the sim I simply couldn't resist! Textures are a little jagged since I hadn't quite perfected my video settings at the time. Enjoy!

Airborne out of Ceske Budejovice airport in the Czech Republic.

The scenery around here is very picturesque.

    Heading into the hills.

Looking for a quiet and unpopulated area - that's the nice thing with FS, you can make your own training areas!

Found a nice little slot in the hills.

It's been some time since I flew this aircraft around Africa back in the FS2002 era, but I felt at home with the controls immediately.

She needs a bit of coaxing to pull off a successful loop, but it is possible.

Investigating the scenery a little closer.

    VC view.

    Arriving back at Ceske Budejovice.

    The last few...

Over the outskirts of the city.

Dropping the flaps and down we go.

A typically convenient FSX tree - seems like every landing requires STOL technique these days!

    Back down in one piece.

That's all, comments more than welcome!

    Thumbs up

What a coincidence Leo, I too just finished a flight with a Zlin aircraft in the Czech Republic, although your bird is much better looking than the one I flew. May have to re-install your type in my FS9, although I am back to using my old rig, as a virus got the better of my new PC.

    Cheers! Mike

Splendid screenshots & flight, Leo. Am most appreciating the scenery & flight. Czech Republic on my Bucket List mas well, though farther down than New Zealand.

    Thanks everyone!

Mike - Have just checked out your flight, good stuff.

David - I'd really like to visit the Czech Republic as well, from what I've seen it is a really beautiful country.

Leo - They actually look a little better posted on the forum than I thought they would, but compared to ones I've taken more recently they're a little bit more compressed.
